I think it is quite obvious that I love eating Mookata, or rather, Thai food :P As for Mookata wise, I have tried many places but most of them, I didn’t bother writing a blog post about it, either because the service is horrible or the food is nothing fantastic. However, Siam Square Mookata is definitely worth blogging!

Siam Square Mookata offers three types of chilli sauce dips for the Thai style steamboat. The dark coloured sauce is sweeter which is suitable for children. The green Thai chilli sauce is a bit spicier with a hint of sourness. The best was the red coloured chilli sauce, it's the bomb. Especially for those who loves spicy! It goes very well with most of the ingredients. Unlike many Mookata places, the pot is frequently changed as the food would get stuck and you will need to place a few slices of pork lard on the pot. However, as for Siam Square Mookata, the skillet pot is non-stick. Hence there is no need to use the pork lard to grease the surface before cooking the ingredients so it's less oily! The ingredients are served in stackable trays or plates which is actually quite tidy and neat.

I ate the Tampines outlet as it is pretty near to my place. However, there are 6 other outlets and they are opening another outlet again soon :)

Price range: $1.80-$2.90/plate or $29.90/person for buffet
